While travelling from Dubai to Paris during the daytime, just wanted to see any movie to think away from the hectic work ahead. Saw this movie 'Band Baja Barat', yes it is yet another bollywood movie with all the bells and whistles. Well, nothing else to do, just mulled over the movie removing the masala, there is a concept, I had proposed to my sister about 6 years ago, but then it was still in its infancy, city like Bangalore it would not have taken off.
Then again six years later the very same people who would not have thought about outsourcing the wedding, wanted to do it and did it with Vengence.
I think that, the opportunity is at its entry point, currently run by loosely knit cooks, need somebody to grab it and run with it, Margins are good, the beancounters in the cousins gang can work out the business case.
One can earn good margins, doing an enjoyable job and best of all it is seasonal, gives plenty of vacation, gives the satisfaction of running and managing your own business controlling your own destiny.
For the business case, concept and planning help is available so close around you with you parallels and elder kith and kins. Not to worry about switching profession results are own successful business, choosing your own time and margins

This concept is in demand today in blore. As Uncle mentioned, its still unorganised sector.Sure to be hot in future as most of them opt for traditional weddings ,but dont have the time/info.Marriage is one evergreen business in India especially. In the SWOT analysis, only weakness is organising n implementation and treat is that the model can be copied pretty quickly. The RnD required is mostly inhouse so not much of a cost factor.More thoughts frm others pls.
